2 Cor. 11- Galatians

"But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned! As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let him be eternally condemned!"

Galatians 1:8-9, NIV

One of the greatest gifts that God has given to us is the unchanging nature of the Good News. It was preached from the very beginning of the church, and its message has never changed. When Jesus said, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No man comes to the Father except through Me." (John 14:6), He gave a truth that was eternal and, therefore, a truth that would never change: He is the only way to salvation.

One of the greatest confidences that we gain from reading the Word is that it does not contradict itself. While it is sometimes difficult to understand, it is still authored by a loving Father who wanted to make sure that His message got to His beloved children so that we could be saved.

And, unlike the laws of modern day men, God's Gospel will never change. This fact, I suppose, is one of the best things about the Good News of Jesus Christ our Lord.

Are you reading it? If you are, it will change your life!

"Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. Do not be carried away by all kinds of strange teachings..."

Hebrews 13:8-9, NIV

Today is day 21 of the Thirty Day Bible Challenge. The readings are II Corinthians 11-13, and Galatians 1-6. I hope that you will take the challenge and read this unchanging message of love from the Creator of the universe! If you haven't already, why not take up the challenge today?
